We were in distress for the first time today, hammer! I can only recommend it. Super friendly and tried hard! The food was really super good. We will definitely be back. Corona is a crazy time and unfortunately you have to close tomorrow although your concept is absolutely clear and it is absolutely unfair (that's my opinion) what is happening at the moment. Stay healthy, we will hopefully see you again in December but in January at the latest.

We ate here for the first time two years ago and loved it. Unfortunately, the "distress at sea" is no longer an insider tip and you have to be lucky to get a table. Also this year we went to eat there in summer and now in autumn. Service always top👍🏆🍾 and the food consistently good. I had a large salad plate with chicken breast and my wife had pan fish. Everything at a very high level. I can only say: keep it up. This is how eating out is fun.

We went there today on the recommendation of a friend and we were not disappointed. The food was delicious, the service attentive and very friendly. Another positive aspect is the exemplary implementation of the Corona hygiene concept. Overall a great evening, we will definitely be back.

Even without a reservation on a Sunday afternoon, they tried to help us so that we had a cozy coffee there and ate an excellent Kaiserschmarrn. The waiter had breakfast with a clown, which was funny at first, but a little too much in the long run. The ambience, the location and the view are great. We recommend it to others.

Modern restaurant on the beach with beautiful views on the sunset and very tasty dishes! Staff is extremely friendly and helpful! We got a tomahawk and it was really tender and we'll balanced between meet and fat! I personally loved the creamy potatoes Gratin as well as the vegetables siding! Plus points for the delicious desserts too!

Because of Corona there was a queue, you were informed immediately about the approximate waiting time. The corona measures were implemented in an exemplary manner, we had a very good feeling. The service was extremely attentive, friendly and fast, the food was just unbelievably good, rarely eaten so tasty. Thanks again to the kitchen and service for this unique pampering experience. The price-performance ratio is absolutely okay. On top of that there is the fantastic view of the sea. I'm really looking forward to the next time.

My enthusiasm is limitless, it started with a very friendly welcome, had to wait - I actually hate that - but here I immediately felt that I like to wait. The matter with the admission was solved excellently, especially because of the Corona problem! You were seen and informed about the approximate waiting time, which was far from everywhere for me. The friendliness went on just as great after admission, plus the fact that you have a wonderful view on this terrace, the food was a dream, thanks to the cooks who conjured it up, the price was absolutely ok, thank you very much, me will definitely be back

Very good food, very friendly service. In addition, extremely helpful: I had forgotten my sunglasses in the restaurant and had to leave the next morning before the restaurant opened. After a short phone call, the sunglasses were carefully packed and sent home. My offer to take over the postage was rejected with thanks. Thank you again for that !!! On the next Sylt vacation, I thank you personally again.

The food was delicious and the service staff attentive and very friendly. Unfortunately we hadn't made a reservation and therefore only got a table outside. So if you want to eat inside, you should call ahead. The ambience was very nice and the view sensational.

We were there several times during our vacation. The service staff is attentive and super nice. Especially the young man with the braid. It couldn't be better. The food is great and the price-performance ratio more than fair. Absolute recommendation.

Very nice restaurant right by the sea. The staff was very friendly and competent. Eat with a view of the sea, on the terrace also quite sheltered from the wind. Oh yes, besides the view and the staff, the food was great!

We spontaneously got a great table on the terrace and were greeted very friendly! The waiters are super nice and open and the facility was completely renovated in 2018/19. The food was excellent and one of the few restaurants on Sylt where the price / performance ratio is still right. We will be back! ❤️

We love this restaurant. Great food, team and boss very friendly. Service top. We love to come back every year. We would like to thank you especially now in the Corona period. Super organized, pay attention to the hygiene regulations! This was not the case in many locations.

Distress - a place where the soul goes on vacation. Fish, meat, salad is exceptionally good here. Wine selection matches the dishes. The service courteous and nice.

On the sun terrace we could enjoy great food while overlooking the sea. Very friendly staff made our lunch perfect. Here we come gladly again. upgrade: After the renovation of the terrace and inside we like it much better. The atmosphere was comfortable, it feels very comfortable. Our server was friendly, super attentive and quick. The food was excellent as 2 years ago!

Wonderful location a few minutes' walk along the promenade going towards Wenningstedt. In the daytime they have a lovely terrace set back from the beach and serve lunch and homemade cake. In the evening it's one of the best places to eat good food and watch the sun go down. The service is particularly warm and friendly and pretty much everything on the menu is excellent. Highly recommended!
